Superiority

Application:

1. In special rubber, can shorten vulcanization time and achieve better mechanical and physical properties. For special rubber like EPR, EPDM,EVA,CPE, fluorine rubber, silicone rubber, vulcanization is very difficult, if use single organic peroxide (such as DCP, BPO) in vulcanization, time is too long and vulcanize insufficiently, hard to ensure its good properties. Therefore, it is necessary to add TMPTMA as an assistant vulcanizer in order to achieve better results.

2. In thermoplastics, can improve the heat resistance, solvent resistance, weather resistance, corrosion resistance ,flame retardancy, mechanical and electronic properties of the cross-linking products, such as Polyethylene, polybutylene, polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, polystyrene, CPE and EVA, etc. For heat, light and irradiation cross-linking with TMPTMA and organic peroxides (like DCP, etc.), which not only can significantly improve but also improve it is much better than only using DCP cross-linking on improving products’ quality, eliminating the odor of DCP and reducing the dosage of DCP.

3. The copolymerization and cross-linking modification of TMPTMA and alkyl acrylate can significantly improve its heat resistance, weather resistance, mechanical strength and optical properties. For example, methacrylate is cross-linked with little amount of TMPTMA to modify the cast paperboard, the vicat softening point of the produced organic glass is improved by more than 30°C, and wear resistance and optical performance can also be significantly improved.

4. Thermoplastic polyesters and unsaturated polyesters can be used as cross-linking modifiers by adding TMPTMA, which can significantly improve the strength of the product, heat resistance, corrosion resistance,

 

 

dimensional stability, weather resistance and so on. For the hot-pressed unsaturated polyester fiberglass products, the hot-pressed products made by TMPTMA as a cross-linking agent can be used at 180°C or above.

5. The coatings or adhesives based on epoxy acrylate, polyurethane and unsaturated polyester are modified by adding TMPTMA, the curing time can be shortened by using electron beams, X-rays, UV light or heating, as well as improve bond strength and quality.

6. TMPTMA can be homopolymerized or copolymerized with other heat-resistant monomers. Its polymer film has very good heat resistance, radiation resistance, moisture resistance, weather resistance and electrical insulation properties. The addition of TMPTMA in many microelectronic insulating materials can significantly improve the above properties, especially in insulating materials such as integrated circuits and printed circuit boards, which has very bright future.

7. For acrylic acid and styrene type ion exchange resin, normally use divinylbenzene as cross-linking agent, if use TMPTMA instead of cross-linking agent, not only the dosage is small, but also can work out new ion exchange resin with very excellent property like anti-pollution, high strength, large pore size, and heat resistance, anti-corrosion, anti-oxidation and so on.

8. TMPTMA have emulsion graft copolymerization reaction with acrylic acid, styrene and acrylonitrile, can produce good impact modifiers used in PVC, PS and other thermoplastic, also can directly produce molded plastics with excellent impact resistance.

9. TMPTMA as a monomer with properties of heat, weather, impact, moisture resistance, can be copolymerized with other monomers, made out to special copolymers.
